Version 1.0

§1. General provisions

  1. These Terms set out the rules of the "First 200 Teachers" promotion organised on the SplitTeach platform.
  2. The Promotion is organised by SplitTeach sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Gdynia, at ul. Linowa 12 lok. 2, 81-578 Gdynia, entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0001256231, holding tax identification number (NIP) 9581766836 and statistical number (REGON) 545328260, hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser" or "SplitTeach".
  3. The Promotion is intended for persons holding a Teacher account on the SplitTeach Platform who meet the conditions set out in these Terms.
  4. The purpose of the Promotion is to enable the first Teachers to use selected features of the Platform without SplitTeach charging a commission on transactions during the Promotion period.
  5. These Terms are available free of charge on the SplitTeach website in a manner that allows them to be obtained, recorded and reproduced.

§2. Definitions

  • Teacher – a person holding a Teacher account on the Platform who offers, or intends to offer, their own LIVE lessons, courses or other educational content via the Platform.
  • Student – a user making use of the educational offering available on the Platform.
  • Promotion – the "First 200 Teachers" promotion, the rules of which are set out in these Terms.
  • Promotion Participant – a Teacher who has met the conditions for taking part in the Promotion and has been admitted within the limit of the first 200 Teachers.
  • SplitTeach Commission – the fee normally charged by SplitTeach on transactions related to the operation of the Platform, in accordance with the applicable Platform Terms of Service.
  • Payment Operator – an external entity providing payment services or handling payments on the Platform.

§3. Duration of the Promotion

  1. The Promotion starts on 21 September 2026.
  2. The Promotion applies to qualifying Participants until, and including, 30 November 2026.
  3. The Promotion covers a maximum of 200 Teachers.
  4. Admission to the Promotion is decided by the order in which the conditions for participation are met.
  5. Once the limit of 200 Participants has been reached, the Organiser may stop admitting further Participants to the Promotion.

§4. Conditions for participation in the Promotion

Participation in the Promotion is conditional on:

  • holding an active Teacher account on the Platform
  • accepting the Platform Terms of Service and these Promotion Terms
  • providing the data required to use the Teacher features and to settle transactions
  • meeting the requirements for using the Payment Operator's services, where such requirements apply
  • meeting the other conditions set out in the Platform Terms of Service

Simply creating an account on the Platform does not guarantee participation in the Promotion if the limit of 200 Participants has already been reached.

A Teacher may take part in the Promotion only through a single Teacher account.

§5. Benefits under the Promotion

Until 30 November 2026, a Promotion Participant benefits from 0% SplitTeach commission on:

  • transactions related to conducting LIVE lessons
  • the sale of courses via the Platform

This means that, during the Promotion period, SplitTeach does not charge a Promotion Participant the Platform's standard commission on the transactions referred to in paragraph 1.

The Promotion does not mean that all costs related to carrying out a transaction are zero.

The Promotion does not cover fees charged by external Payment Operators.

§6. Payment Operator fees

  1. Fees charged by the Payment Operator are not a SplitTeach commission and are not covered by the Promotion.
  2. Payment Operator fees related to carrying out a transaction are borne by the Teacher, in accordance with the rules and price list of the relevant Payment Operator.
  3. SplitTeach does not set the amount of the fees charged by the Payment Operator and does not guarantee their amount.
  4. A change in the amount of fees, or in the rules for calculating them, made by the Payment Operator does not constitute a change to these Terms.
  5. A Promotion Participant may be required to enter into or accept a separate agreement, terms of service or terms of use of the Payment Operator.

§7. End of the Promotion for a Participant

  1. The right to benefit from the Promotion expires on 30 November 2026, regardless of when the Teacher joined the Promotion.
  2. From 1 December 2026, the standard settlement rules applicable on the Platform, as set out in the current Platform Terms of Service or SplitTeach's price list, apply to the Promotion Participant.
  3. The Organiser may set different commission rules after the Promotion ends, provided that Participants are informed of those rules in accordance with applicable law.
  4. The end of the Promotion does not result in the automatic deletion of the Teacher's account.

§8. Loss of the right to the Promotion

A Participant may lose the right to the Promotion if:

  • their Teacher account is deleted
  • they grossly breach the Platform Terms of Service
  • they provide false data
  • they take action aimed at circumventing the rules of the Promotion
  • they breach applicable law

Loss of the right to the Promotion does not affect the rights and obligations arising from transactions that were previously carried out correctly, unless the law or the nature of the breach provides otherwise.

§9. Transactions and settlements

  1. Transactions carried out via the Platform are settled in accordance with the rules set out in the Platform Terms of Service and the Payment Operator's rules.
  2. A Promotion Participant is responsible for the accuracy of the data necessary to carry out settlements.
  3. SplitTeach may require a Teacher to undergo additional verification before allowing them to accept payments.
  4. The Promotion does not release a Teacher from any tax, accounting or other obligations arising from the business they carry on or the revenue they earn.

§10. Complaints

  1. Complaints concerning the Promotion may be submitted via the contact channels indicated on the Platform.
  2. A complaint should include a description of the problem and data allowing the Teacher's account to be identified.
  3. The Organiser handles a complaint within the period provided for by applicable law.
  4. A response to a complaint will be provided via the appropriate communication channel.

§11. Personal data

  1. The personal data of Promotion Participants is processed in accordance with SplitTeach's applicable Privacy Policy.
  2. Where using the Payment Operator's services requires certain data to be provided to that operator, such data may also be processed by the Payment Operator in accordance with its own data-protection rules and privacy policy.

§12. Changes to these Terms

The Organiser may amend these Terms for important reasons, in particular in the event of:

  • changes in law
  • the need to adapt the rules of the Promotion to the Platform's functionality
  • the need to ensure the security of the Platform
  • a change in how the Payment Operator operates
  • the need to remove any ambiguities or errors in these Terms

Changes to these Terms may not deprive a Participant of rights acquired under the Promotion, unless applicable law allows for this.

Participants will be informed of changes to these Terms in the manner adopted for communicating with Platform users.

§13. Final provisions

  1. Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by the provisions of the Platform Terms of Service and applicable law.
  2. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Platform Terms of Service regarding the rules of the Promotion, the provisions of these Terms shall prevail.
  3. These Terms enter into force on 21 September 2026.
